Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West have gone through some of the most challenging times last year. However, the reality star put on a display of togetherness as she gushed over her husband back in November.
The Skims founder had revealed at the time that the lyrics to one of the tracks of his album, Dark Twisted Fantasy; was a poem the rapper wrote for her. She shared that in honor of the album completing 10 years. The song she claimed was written for her was Lost In The World and was gifted to her on her 30th birthday.
However, since then, Kanye seems to have appeared for a brief period on her social media handle. She was also seen spending Christmas with her mum and sisters as the rapper also made an appearance. Despite the couple putting on a display of them being happy, their pals have alleged that things are “really strange”.
It is also claimed that since Kanye had his very public breakdown on Twitter as he blasted Kim, they have both been living completely separate lives. The rapper is reportedly staying at his ranch in Wyoming while Kim is living in their mansion in Los Angeles. There are also sources who claimed that Kanye has no plans to change his living situation.
Kim was desperate to divorce Kanye
According to a source, he has no plans to return to LA full-time but Kim seems to be okay with that. Various other sources close to the couple have opened up about their relationship amid their turbulent marriage. Last year, a source had alleged that the couple had been struggling in their marriage for months. However, they also claimed to be happy in their separate lives for the time being. Meanwhile, another one of their friends claimed that Kim was desperate to divorce him but decided against it for their children.
“This is a nightmare for Kim. She is looking for a way out,” the insider said. “But she’s also a nice person and wants to do the best for her kids”. The insider also claimed; that there does not seem to be any possibility of her actually filing for divorce anytime soon.
Kim was reportedly furious with the rapper as he publicly revealed that they had almost aborted their first child, North. He had then claimed that Kim and her mother, Kris Jenner are ‘white supremacists’. The rapper also claimed to have been trying to divorce the reality star for years ever since she met rapper, Meek Mills.
The KKW Beauty founder had met Meek for discussing prison reforms two years back. “I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Waldorf for ‘prison reform,'” he tweeted. However, despite his episode, Kim quickly defended him on Instagram. She asked people to show compassion towards her husband who suffers from bipolar.
However, sources claim that the trust between them is gone and that her sisters want her to start anew. The source revealed that the reality star’s family feel extremely bad for her.

The source also claimed that their trust is gone and that Kim’s fairytale has come to an end. According to the source, the Skims founder is left with the choice of being a single 40-year-old mother to four kids or staying with her mentally unstable husband who does not respect her.
However, a rep for the family said the claims are “not true”. It is also being reported that Kanye is now based full-time in Wyoming when Kim lives with their kids back home. “[He’s] in a better place when he’s there and Kim needs to be in LA and wants the kids with her,” a source revealed.
The reality star is said to be trying her best to keep their lives normal. According to the source, she communicates daily as he is not in touch that often. The source revealed, “Right now, Kanye is focusing on Kanye while Kim holds down everything in LA and keeps the kids’ lives normal”. Sources also reveal that Kim is running an empire; taking care of their four kids single-handedly. The reality star is more than annoyed with Kanye for not offering to help with the kids as he is too focused on creating.
“Kim finds it frustrating that Kanye doesn’t ask her how he can help with the kids,” a source previously told US magazine. “She is trying to be a great mum; focus on law school and her work commitments; and it’s hard to do all of this without Kanye helping as much as he can.”
