Dua Lipa was criticized for encouraging fans to ‘stay at home’ during the first lockdown. However, she jetted around the world which did not go down well with fans.
The singer went on a holiday trip with her boyfriend, Anwar Hadid and her friends. Fans have commented and pointed out how needless travel can put all of us at the risk of infection. The singer had written, “PSA- STAY AT HOME” along with a broken heart emoji.
In the time span of nine months, she flew to Mexico with Anwar as the death toll continued to surge in both the US and the UK. The singer was also rumored to be expecting with her boyfriend.
Dua was then criticized for traveling with her anti-vax boyfriend, Anwar. He recently claimed he “absolutely would not” have the COVID-19 vaccination. Anwar said our bodies are made by the creator to do way more than we think.
He later clarified his comments: “I’m not ‘anti-vax. I think everyone has to be careful with each vaccine individually looking at positive and possible negative effects.” One user shared Dua’s stay at home clip from lockdown and wrote how she tweeted this and jetted around the world. The fan also added that she did that with her Anti-vax boyfriend.
A second wrote: “Traveling? During a pandemic?” while another fan wrote needless travel weather it is within the guidelines or not puts us all at risk of infection. The user asked the singer to use a little common sense. Another fan continued, “Your bf is literally anti vax that’s so embarrassing.”
Dua has been sharing pictures from her holiday as she was donning a daring thong dress. She was having PDA moment with Anwar as well as posing with her friends. The singer also sent fans completely confused as she captioned one of her latest Instagram snaps with a number of baby emojis.
Her followers took to the comments section as they questioned what that means. One fan wrote, “OMG BABY” and another asked if she is pregnant. “Only I’m thinking she might be pregnant lol, I love you Dua Lipa”, typed another.
However, the singer cleared the air as she responded to a fan who asked if she is pregnant. She wrote back that it is her, “food baby”.
